Top Pro Camcorder 16:9 Video - Using Adobe Premiere Pro?

16:9 video - Using Adobe Premiere Pro? - top pro camcorder

I shot some videos in 16:9 format on my camera, but if I do in Adobe Premiere Pro, no black bars showing on the top or bottom. I've tried) various settings (standard and widescreen, but it shows only the standard 4:3 and widescreen black bars on the sides, not top to bottom. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? should not be able to see the top / bottom bars in the preview settings before burning the DVD?
